Grand Theft Auto is the biggest selling video game ever and it will be a long time before some game overtakes this feat. Looking around the Rockstar Games website I found that you can get GTA for free and legal on their site. Of course it is GTA one and two but hey, its free.
I haven't tried these and I am not sure if these games are online games.
